Mon Repos: A Haven by the Ocean

When we first stepped into the space that would become Mon Repos (which literally translates to my place of rest), it was clear that the view was the heart of this home. With the vast expanse of the ocean stretching endlessly beyond its windows, our goal was simple yet profound: to craft a home that embraced this natural spectacle, while offering its inhabitants a serene retreat from the bustle of city life.

We approached the design with restraint, minimizing structural changes to let the view take precedence. Every choice—every line, material, and color—was guided by the principle of removing excess and amplifying simplicity. The furniture reflects this philosophy, with clean, modern designs punctuated by custom statement pieces.
